The evaluation was incredibly thorough, and it was obvious they have a wealth of knowledge and experience. They took the time to observe our dog’s behavior, answer all of our questions, and explain not only what they were seeing but why it was happening.

What I appreciated most was that we never felt rushed. By the end of the consultation, we had a much better understanding of our dog’s behavior and felt confident about the best next steps. I have a dog named Honey that so desperately needed training and reached out to Loreanne about a year ago. Honey was a very reactive dog with past trauma who couldn't be out in public without disrupting others. She would bark and literally throw herself at them in defense, scared that they would hurt her or us in some way. She was even fearful in our own neighborhood. Loreanne helped me understand her brain while also giving me the tools to train her and lessen the behavioral issues. Since then, Honey has had better manners out in public and is not as reactive as she was before. She is still a work in progress like all reactive dogs are, but she's so much better and confident in herself that it makes me proud. I had checked out other trainers for Daisy before choosing Loreanne, and I think I made a wise choice. Loreanne is very knowledgeable and experienced, understands canine psyche, and uses humane techniques. Daisy progressed from being a puppy mill rescue dog who knew nothing to becoming a great companion.

We have only had one visit with Loreanne, but the change in my two German Shepherds has been amazing! I am so excited to work with them using her strategies to watch them progress with each of our practice sessions. Loreanne is amazing, and I only wish I had called sooner!

Loreanne is awesome! We adopted a very anxious German Shepherd who has some very unique quirks. I'm so happy that we found Loreanne and she was willing to take us on. She really taught us how to be the best owners for our Midnight and how we can lead him to become a comfortable and confident dog. I love that we have reachback to Loreanne and that she hosts pack walks with other dogs that have gone through training. We moved to another state this fall and I know that getting Midnight trained with Loreanne helped with his transition to a new state and house. He is flourishing and loving life! Last summer we adopted a new puppy and wanted to get her started off on the right foot so we reached out to Loreanne. We also have another dog, Evee - a 13 year old Italian greyhound mix who has always been anxious and shown some fear aggression - so we thought we would get both of them signed up to help Evee’s behavior and try to prevent some of the “less desirable” behaviors from rubbing off on our puppy Tana.
They both recently graduated and the build up in their confidence over the last 9-10 months has been incredible! We attended our first pack walk last weekend and they both did great. Evee has learned how to calmly observe and not get worked up over the surrounding environment, and Tana enjoys having new experiences and can recall her commands even when she is tempted to be distracted by all of the new sights and smells while out on a walk. More importantly, we have learned what to do and what not to do in order to encourage good behavior and to go back to the basics that Loreanne taught us if we start to notice them reverting to old behaviors or developing a new issue. We’re thankful that Loreanne is a resource for their lives because Tana is she’s still growing and who knows what she’ll want to try to get away with next!

Side note: your dogs will LOVE Loreanne. She takes the time to bond with them and I joke that they’re always on their tip-top very best behavior when she’s around!

Loreanne is wonderful! Hazel made so much progress in a short amount of time. I told Loreanne my goal in the beginning was to have a dog that was welcome anywhere. Without a doubt our goals were accomplished!
