Loreanne Sistrunk Cowan built Urban Ruffneck K9 Training to give dogs—and their people—a better way to learn together. After leaving Big Friendly Dog Training, she followed her vision of creating personalized, balanced, fear-free training that works from in-home foundations to public space success.
With nearly five years of hands-on experience in behavior modification, Loreanne has helped over 300 dogs and families turn frustration into calm, confident companionship.
Her trusted training partner, Grizzmo, once an anxious young rescue, became a role model for other dogs thanks to Loreanne’s fear-free, balanced approach. His journey reflects what she offers every client: leadership, understanding, and real-world results.
